The final day of the Premier League season is expected to bring the drama with the title battle, race for Europe and relegation scrap all set to be decided.

Virtually all teams are still jostling for position and battles at the top and bottom of the table will come down to the wire later this month.

It has been a campaign like no other in the Premier League after a mid-season winter break for the World Cup.

But it hasn't affected the excitement in the top-flight and the action will all come to a dramatic close in a few weeks' time.

When is the final day of the season?

The final day of the Premier League season is Sunday, May 28.

Every team will be in action and all games are scheduled to kick off at 4:30pm.

The champions could well be decided on the final day with Manchester City now leading Arsenal.

Manchester United, Newcastle and Liverpool are likely to be battling it out for a place in the Champions League with Tottenham, Aston Villa, Brighton and Brentford competing for a European spot too.

However, arguably the biggest fight on the final day will be for the teams at the bottom of the Premier League table

There will possibly be up to nine teams with a chance of relegation and as each goal goes in, circumstances will change for every single side.

Southampton, Everton, Nottingham Forest, Leeds, Leicester, West Ham, Wolves, Bournemouth and even Chelsea are all among the teams that could be fighting for their lives.

So plenty of drama is expected and fans will not want to miss a second once the first whistle blows on the final day.
