Liverpool's team has been confirmed for this afternoon's Premier League clash with Fulham, with the Reds looking to narrow the gap to leaders Arsenal to two points.

Having made nine adjustments to his side for the Europa League win over LASK in midweek, Jürgen Klopp has once again rung the changes, with the side taking on a much more familiar look. Six changes have been made in total, with five players remaining from Thursday.

Caoimhín Kelleher deputizes again for the injured Alisson Becker, while Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joël Matip and Virgil van Dijk are restored in defense alongside Kostas Tsimikas. Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai return in midfield, with Ryan Gravenberch keeping his spot from miweek.

Luis Díaz is preferred to Cody Gakpo on the left with Diogo Jota out, while Darwin Núñez takes his place in the center again with Mohamed Salah on the right.

Liverpool confirmed team vs Fulham:Kelleher; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Tsimikas; Mac Allister, Szoboszlai, Gravenberch; Salah, Núñez, Díaz.

Liverpool begins a busy big week of Premier League action today against Fulham. A win would be the ideal start to three tough fixtures in seven days as the Reds' squad is set to be stretched.

Even with some key injuries, if anyone can cope with a hectic schedule, it should be Klopp's side. The German has more options than most other Premier League managers when it comes to rotation.

Ahead of today's game, two of our Liverpool.com writers had their say on who they would pick. Take a look at their teams below, and see how they stack up against Klopp's selection.

Matt Addison - Curtis Jones and Joël Matip start

Kelleher will obviously be in goal and I'd go with Matip at the back. Konaté can play midweek against Sheffield United and Joe Gomez can come on for Kostas Tsimikas around the hour mark in both games to keep him fresh enough to feature in all three games this week given Andy Robertson is not close to a return yet.

Curtis Jones gets the nod in midfield, for me, having not played against LASK. I'd like to see him start two and feature from the bench in another of this week's fixtures because he is a player that really responds well to being in rhythm. In the attack, Mohamed Salah will definitely start and as Gakpo wasn't taken off on Thursday, it will almost certainly be Núñez and Díaz with him.

My starting XI: Kelleher; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Tsimikas; Szoboszlai, Mac Allister, Jones; Salah, Núñez, Díaz

Predicted scoreline: 2-1 to Liverpool.

One thing to watch:How does Kelleher look when he has to be a bit more involved?

James Findlater - Darwin Núñez needs a goal

The team largely picks itself for me, with just a couple of big decisions to make. Curtis Jones just gets the nod in midfield again, although Ryan Gravenberch and Harvey Elliott run him close.

Luis Díaz starts on the left in place of the injured Diogo Jota, leaving a straight shootout between Darwin Núñez and Cody Gakpo in the center. I’ll stick with the former, although he could do with a goal or two today.

My starting XI: Kelleher; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Tsimikas; Szoboszlai, Mac Allister, Jones; Salah, Núñez, Díaz

Predicted scoreline: 3-0 to Liverpool.

One thing to watch: Who wins the race to start on the left side of the midfield three?
