Wrexham Sixth, Liverpool RELEGATED! Football Manager Simulation Predicts How Premier League Table Will Look In ONE HUNDRED Years

A Football Manager enthusiast has used the latest edition of the iconic video game to simulate the next 100 seasons.

YouTuber TomFM was able to get himself early access to FM24 before the game's official release date in November.

Instead of just diving in and taking charge of his favorite team, he decided to start the game as an unemployed manager.

He then sat back and simulated an entire century of soccer. This simulation took just under eight hours and provided some interesting results.

The journey began at the start of the current 2023/24 season, which then ended with Manchester City winning the Premier League with 89 points.

Newcastle came second with 88 points, with Liverpool, Tottenham and Arsenal completing the top five.

Aston Villa won the Europa Conference League, Liverpool beat Newcastle in the Europa League final, while City lost to Napoli in the 2024 Champions League final.

All of those outcomes seem fairly plausible.

However, the final EPL table of 2123/24 looks a lot more dreamlike.

Newcastle were still second, perched either side of the two major Manchester clubs in the top three.

But Arsenal and Chelsea were now nowhere to be seen in the Premier League table. Both had spent the 2123/24 campaign in the Championship, where Chelsea earned promotion back to the top flight as champions, while Arsenal suffered relegation to League One!

In FM24's dreamworld of the future, Liverpool and Everton both exit the EPL via the trapdoor in 2124, while AFC Fylde and Wrexham qualify for Europe.

But it is not all bad news for Everton, who dominated European football in the 2080s. The Toffees won the Champions League seven times before dropping out of England's top tier.

Wrexham's promotion to the Premier League did not come until 2096 - presumably long after the Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney era had ended (barring some remarkable enhancements in human healthcare).
