Wanted to buy the a34 last year, waited for the prices going down, now the A35 seems like the the best option, but after reading about heating i'm not really sure about it.
Don't care about modern gaming, i mean, i play minesweeper and i'm happy about it lol. It would be , besides the usual stuff, more for an ereader type.

Time is running out for me to avail of the May discounts from Samsung.
Apart from the lack of HDR1- support is the Galaxy A55 really worth the money, difference and better specs than the A35? (similar questions have been asked since last year?.

Galaxy a55 it has:
Better cpu
Better battery life
Better software with longer support
Better display
Speakers are more or less the same quality
Slightly worse camera but thats my opinion
Slower 5g connectivity because of the exynos modem
And i like the design of oppo more than samsung but thats is to a personal preference.
So i will go for the samsung for better productivity software and longer support.

I used Samsung's 25W charger. Galaxy A55 only supports up to 25W of wired charging. It also supports other PD2.0 / PD3.0 chargers rated 25W or more.
You can also double check by swiping down the notification center & checking to see if it says "Fast Charging" / "Super Fast Charging".

So here's my results: charged 42 hours 14 mins ago to 100%. I'm now at 5% charge 42 hours 14 mins later. I got 8 hours 5 mins screentime.
Very happy Samsung customer.

Picked up an A55 because I wasn't too impressed with the battery life on my OnePlus 10t. I charged my A55 to 100% and used it for WhatsApp, Web browsing, video calling, phone calls etc. So far its down to 34% - I charged it 37 hours ago and it has had 6 hours of screen time. I'll post again when it hits around 1%. At the moment it's very impressive.

I thought switching from china phone to korean phone is good but is not! My only problem with my samsung a55 5g is weak signal poor network.... In my realme phone i don't have any problem with my signal but switching to samsung a55 my mobile signal is weak no reception always! The heck samsung! I live in the Philippines by the way.

I want a phone for long term use with good build quality and display. I am not a hardcore gamer I just play them casually but still that doesn't mean it should be crap with performance..... I just want sth to last without major issues... So will the a55 do or there are other phones in the same price range that I should consider......
