Mi M... moreRemember this when asking what to buy, and I think someone anon replied to my question. and later from that day made decision to bought mi max 2. Well, in this 5 years almost 6 years, I have no big issues when using this phone so I never have it to get any service needed. The issues I had not urgent enough to have it repair to the service center. Some of the issues I had until now In the last couple of years is the battery always drain so fast, need to be charged everyday, my ori first usb cable broken, can't transfer any files using the new cable and any other cable, the power button and volume button broken. and now in the last couple of weeks I had a ghost touch issue, sometimes can be used normally but sometime can't be used at all. I want to have it repair but my sibling said the budget needed to repair the issue is almost too expensive here so maybe better to buy another new phone than repair them, and also in this couple of days it seems some of apps can't be open at all always force close by itself, already do all that basic troubleshoot but still can't open the apps. That said, it's been a good years using mi max 2, still alive until this exact time even there's some issue here and there. I hope to find another long lasting phone that can be used for 4 5 6 years maybe more?

More room for the battery to breathe while giving a second life to the mi Max 2

Purchased in December 2017 . Still using in 2023. I have changed one time Display due to fracture, one time Battery and two times speakers. Overall this is the best Mobile I have ever purchased.

Purchased in 2017 October for 17000 Rupees...replaced the screen twice due to my carelessness. Battery started bulging slightly by May 2022 so finally replaced the battery as well in April 2023. Best purchase of life. I mean we have to appreciate that a phone is able stay relevant after more than half a decade after its release. Right now I am being forced to buy a new phone because Android 7 is pretty outdated for many essential apps I use. Otherwise I would have no issue using it for another 5 more years.
The thing is after we use something for this long. We get attached to it sentimentally. This phone has been with me through a very significant and important portion of my life. So yeah, for me its worth paying for to keep it alive as long as I can.

Dont upgrade to miui 11 , batery drain so fast . And baterry status was buging . If the device to hot , the phone was restarting it self .

Do you use this smartphone for playing xcloud microsoft? Is good? I have tested xiaomi mi max 1 but is not good. Lag and stops. With other smartphone all ok.
I am choosing from xiaomi mi max 2 o mi max 3 only for playing xcloud. Do you have any of them?

about US$104 in todays currency but i am un sure
if it comes with stereo speakers or ori accessories
(unsure if refurbish means changing those things)

Sixth year of heavy exploitation and this beast is still fully operational. Last month the battery suddenly dropped 800 mAh of its max capacity but it still holds two days of normal daily usage. I looked for a replacement but there is always something lost in the transition - 3,5 mm jack, IR, radio, dual speakers, metal body, card slot, dual SIM cards, etc. What a legend. I will never leave you before your last breath.

Happy 5th year anniversary to my Mi Max2. The battery may drain faster but still work fine.

I really loved this phone but after 5 years of service need a new one due to the battery issues and the frontal camera not working anymore. :/
