The title page of the manuscript was corrected for printing, as was the contents page. Approximately half of that list and the first few pages of the manuscript are missing. Few, if any, corrections were made in the text.

In its determination to preserve the century of revolution, Gale initiated a revolution of its own: digitization of epic proportions to preserve these invaluable works in the largest archive of its kind.
